EagleEye Photo Explorer
"What is the Marmota project?". Marmota is a prototype image alignment program that has been created in our TeV lab in FBK over the past few years. Essentially, it takes a photo and tries to match visible terrain inside the image with similar features inside a generated synthetic model of the real World. Once alignment is achieved what you have is a true 3D photo and its true content can be revealed. More details and publications relating to the system's workings can be found on our main webpage.Google Earth joins Nemo
The latest version of Google Earth 1.1 for Android includes a feature that will allow you to delve the depths of the ocean.
Google partnered with Ocean Showcase to include shipwreaks and marine research.
This version of Earth for Android includes an “Explore the Ocean” layer. Seemingly similar to the Ocean Showcase, this feature shows off hundreds of images and video from Google’s content partners.
You can download the application on your android handset using the QR code below.

Google iPad Ad formats
In the short time since Apple released their tablet device, developers have rushed to create thousands of iPad apps. To support this need, we are thrilled to announce a new feature to Mobile for AdSense applications. The new feature allows developers who are based in the US and Canada and are participating in our beta program to monetize their iPad applications.
The new iOS SDK supports ad serving in iPad apps using three of the most common online ad formats, instantly making it easier for developers to grow their businesses and for advertisers to expand their presence to the iPad.
