This is an interesting concept, I am not 100% convinced the mechanism is correct (thrusting at things you like), but linked with fourSquare for social checkins and redeeming deals could be neat, also friending while out and about.

Lego creates it’s own Social Network
I am not sure this is the best idea, there are so many social networks out there that start and then disappear because of the big bad wolf – Facebook.
The idea of gathering like minded people to talk lego nerdary is a great idea thou, just looking at some of the content already it shows that there are some die hard fans out there. visit ReBrick

App turns iPad into play-mat
This is the future of Gaming, real world products being used to interact with virtual worlds.
Disney created AppMates, which is short takes an iPad and turns it into an interactive play-mat, the miniature figures have sensors that when connected to the iPad screen turns it into a game, the players can race against other characters, complete missions and win virtual cash.
